What you need:
A crock pot. About 4 hours till dinner. And this stuff.
5 or 6 potato's
package of cubed ham
green onions
package of frozen peas - thawed.
1/2 block of cream cheese
Makes enough to make 4 bowls like the one above, two kids servings, and you'll have a small tupperware of leftovers, too.

Hit your Crock Pot up with some no-stick spray or whatever non-stick of your choice.
Set crock pot on high. As evidenced in the picture, I have a standard Rival medium-sized crock pot.
Cut up you potato's the way you like and dump them into the crock pot.
Put on the lid and leave it alone for about 4 hours.
Now, cut up your green onions.
Cut your 1/2 block of cream cheese.
Thaw your peas.
Put these in a bowl and put it in the fridge. We'll get this in about 4 hours when the potato's are done.

I like mine in little(ish) cubes like this. This is about 2 potato's in - you'll have a lot more than this. |
Dump package of cubed ham into crock pot.
Pour can of cream of chicken soup on and smooth it over the top.
Now, cut up your green onions.

Ok, now that you've cooked the potato's and ham for about 4 hours, dump the bowl of onions, peas, and cream cheese in the pot.
When the cheese is melted, mix it all up and serve.

Cool? It's meat and potato's. And some veggies. That's cool.
Cheap? Whole meal is probably $10. Considering the amount you get, yes.
Easy? 10 steps. Easy enough for a college freshman. Yes.
3 outta 3. Nice. Stamp time:
